The Challenge

Rontec’s payments infrastructure had become fragmented over time, with multiple providers supporting different parts of the forecourt experience.

This created operational inefficiencies and inconsistent customer journeys across fuel, retail and unattended services. Internal teams were required to manage complex reconciliation processes with limited end-to-end visibility across transactions.

With customer expectations shifting towards fast, contactless and frictionless payments, Rontec needed a solution that could simplify its payments landscape.

The Solution

Attenda delivered a Consolidated Mobility Payment Solution, unifying payments across Rontec’s entire estate into a single, scalable platform.

Crucially, this was achieved without replacing existing infrastructure. By integrating seamlessly with Rontec’s current systems and partners – including PDI, Worldpay and Vianet – Attenda enabled rapid deployment with minimal disruption.

The solution provides:

The full rollout was completed in just three months following pilot—around 75% faster than typical industry timelines.
